Turquoise water and granite boulders make this the most famous beach on the lake, and the busiest.

Vehicle day-use reservations are required daily May 15 to September 30 during morning hours (roughly park opening until 10 to 10:30am). Pedestrians on the East Shore Trail and boat-launch users do not need one.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed only off-season, October 15 to April 15, on a leash no longer than 6 feet. No dogs in summer.

Drive in or walk in via the East Shore Trail. A fully developed park off Highway 28.
