How billing works.

Short version: Arch City is a month-to-month subscription. You can cancel any time from your owner dashboard. When you cancel, billing stops at the end of the current month and your page reverts to a basic listing.
What you pay
Owner tier is £19/month. Featured tier is £49/month. Founder cohort venues (the first 20 to claim a page) pay £9 and £23/month respectively for the first six months. After month six the standard rate kicks in, automatically, with one renewal email reminder before it does.
Payment is taken in advance via Stripe at the start of each billing cycle. You can update or remove your card any time from the owner dashboard.
Cancelling
Cancel from Owner dashboard → Plan → Cancel. One click, no phone call, no email exchange. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you keep the page (and any traffic coming through it) until then.
Once cancelled, your page stays online as a basic free listing and your account is preserved. You can re-activate any time without losing your history, photos, or reviews.
Refunds
Because subscriptions are billed in advance for the month ahead, we don't issue mid-cycle refunds. Cancelling stops the next renewal, but doesn't prorate the current one. That keeps the pricing simple and means we can charge £19 a month instead of building in margin for a refund desk.
If something has genuinely gone wrong on our end (the platform is down, a feature you paid for isn't working, a billing error has hit you twice), email hello@archcity.co and we'll sort it.
Founder pricing
The £9 / £23 founder rate applies to the first six billing cycles. The promo code FOUNDER applies it automatically at Stripe checkout. You'll see the discounted price on every invoice for the first six months, then standard pricing on the seventh.
We'll email you in advance of the rate change so you can decide whether to continue, change tier, or cancel.
Failed payments
If a renewal fails (expired card, declined transaction), Stripe will retry for up to a week. We'll email you a heads-up after the first failed attempt. If the retries don't succeed, your subscription moves to past_due and your page reverts to a basic listing until you update your card.
Disputes & chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please email us first at hello@archcity.co. Almost everything is faster to resolve directly than through a card-issuer dispute, and we'll always honour a genuine error.
