Cookies, plainly explained.
Last updated: May 2026
Cookies are small files a website puts on your device. We use a small number, only for things the site needs to work or to understand how it's being used. Detail below.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function. They can't be turned off without breaking core features.
- archcity_session - your login session as a member, owner, or admin. Cleared when you log out or after a period of inactivity.
- archcity_cookie_consent - remembers your cookie choices so we don't ask again on every visit. 12-month lifetime.
- cf_clearance / similar - anti-abuse cookies set by our hosting provider to block bots and scraping.
Analytics (optional)
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymised data about which pages are visited, which buttons are clicked, and where visitors come from. We use this to understand what's working and what's not.
- archcity_anon_id - a random ID that lets us count unique visitors without identifying you. 30-day lifetime.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, Google Analytics, or Meta pixels.
Stripe
When you check out, Stripe places its own cookies on the checkout page to detect fraud and manage your payment session. Details at stripe.com/cookies-policy.
Your choices
The cookie banner that appears on your first visit lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. You can change your choice any time by clicking Cookie settings in the footer.
You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings. If you do, some features (like staying logged in) won't work.
